I observe. People, things, places. I am mostly inspired by characters that my mind builds on these observations. All my novels so far have had character-centric titles: Maya's New Husband, Pishacha, Yakshini. Once I have a strong plot, the writing takes care of itself. If I do get stuck, I drown myself in a good book or a good movie, and soon I am motivated to create something of my own that's just as beautiful.
