Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Michael Abraham My new book, "Orange, VA" is a novel of political intrigue. I ran for a state legislature office a year ago, and the experience tuned me into how poorly we in Virginia and America are governed. This book explores the idea that the proverbial foxes are placed in a position to guard the hen-house. I began to think about which of history's lessons have shown us similar situations and how power was wrested back. It was great fun to write!
Yes, it espouses a particular political philosophy (mine!). Warning: It is not fair and balanced.
