It was a dramatic betrayal, and the mystery that intrigues me is what motivates someone to betray another, with no thought to the consequences or fallout? I'm currently head down writing my debit series New Rome Rising, so this new series will be simmering in the back of my brain for a while yet before it sees the light of day, but I can assure you, it will be one hell of a ride.
