Goodreads asked Kendall Williams:

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Kendall Williams I've often thought about the time in the course of humanity's journey when we began to domesticate plants and animals and thus the ability to develop larger surpluses and agriculture, the origin of wealth and the path to later technologies. I would find a man and a woman...a couple tied to each other...he the hunter and she the gatherer...on the cusp of discovering genetic selection as she and the other women grind the wild grains grown up around the place they inhabit in the warm months on their yearly migration. Over the years, seeds of grain brought to this place, blown away, scattered in and about this place, in random destiny. Seeds of an idea that led to a permanent settlement, beyond natural selection...and conflict with the free roaming life, the old life of the time before. And the herding life to come!
