How do you get inspired to write?

Steven Cross This one's hard for me because for various reasons I won't go into I have a very short attention span, and I lose interest in a project pretty quickly. Usually, something I read or see on television can inspire me. Sometimes an idea comes to me out of the blue. Inspiration is hard to get a handle on.
