What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Steven Cross The best advice I can give to aspiring writers is, "Learn your craft." There are good writers producing wonderful material every day. Don't waste years refusing to learn, refusing to accept constructive criticism, and refusing to believe that improvement is always possible. Secondly, write. Write everyday -- even if it is only for half an hour or an hour. Find something you love writing and read all you can - fiction, nonfiction. Finally, hang in there. Writing isn't an easy way of life, and if you're not willing to put in the time and effort, you won't be successful.
