This question contains spoilers… (view spoiler)[I was pleasantly surprised "Let the Dead Bury the Dead" had a happy ending - or, rather, a hopeful/bittersweet ending. The second half of the book, I had a sense of dread that at least one, if not all, of our main trio would die. Certainly was not expecting Felix and Sasha to ride off into the sunset together (thanks for not making me cry!). When you were writing this book was there a draft with a much darker ending?
