Did anyone else feel like Theo's story had elements of Fisher's from her The Scent Keeper's novel?

good catch! There's actually a scene that is the same between the two books. Originally, Fisher had his own POV and backstory that had to be cut when Scent Keeper became Emmeline's story. But I loved that material, and I think part of me knew I wasn't done with the topic. Thus, Peter. Thus, Theo.
