I'd like to oblige, but the horror genre is not my forte. If I was feeling pessimistic I might use the two sentences to point out the similarities between Real Life and a horror story, but I prefer to escape from RL into worlds of Fantasy and Sci-fi.
Or, I might write, "One day, all the world's books disappeared. Aaargh." (Does "Aargh" count as a sentence?)
