Wayne Thomas Batson Hi, Carson! My favorite was Jett. I always loved his character arc, his altruism, and resilience.

First and foremost, I absolutely love your work. Your books were the first fantasy novels I ever read, and was what began my life of reading. Now, as I am approaching adulthood I am attempting to pursue writing as a career. How did you learn to write allegories without it being “too preachy?”
