Hi Milly! I had a lot of friends recommend the TV show "Sherlock" to me, and I wasn't a huge Sherlock Holmes fan at the time. Within the first ten minutes, the way the actor played Sherlock--being short with people, throwing tantrums--I thought "what if Sherlock Holmes was a nine-year old girl?" It started the what if chain that led me to create Shelby! I hope you're enjoying the books! :)

Hi Elizabeth. I read your book "Just Another Girl" last year and I really really loved it. It really helped me to remember that we shouldn't judge other people without knowing the whole story first. It's really helped me to tone down my judgement toward other people and it was just a life changing story. I was just wondering what compelled you to write this story? How did you come up with the idea?
