I think this is more of a personality trait than a writing trait. I tend to be on the blunt side and my writing reflects that. As a reader, I want to be entertained with the good stuff. So when I'm writing, I always keep that in mind. If it doesn't need to be there, I cut it. If anything, I need to add in more details and slow the pace down sometimes. I tend to write in warp speed.

so sad that I have not known about the True reign series until today.I have finished The Key today and now I am starting on Red. I have no doubt that I will be done with that one by tomorrow and then be done with War(onVacation)Now I can not wait for August 25 for Cage of Deceit! This is not a question I know but I just needed to vent on how upset I am that I didn't know about these books!? I am obsessed!

I definitely saw Allysa’s character arch from the lost princess without a cause to a queen who wear her scars like a trophy.
