Hi Gerry, I loved The Departure and wondering if there's a sequel to this book? I know the story is good as it is, a stand-alone, but since one of the characters retained memories of *blip* ... anyway, I hope the story continues. You're my top favorite author now!

Hi Anna,
No sequel is planned for Departure. Quite a few people have asked but I always planned for Departure to be a stand alone novel. Thank you for reading and I appreciate the compliment that you would want to read more about the characters and see the story line continue. I must be doing something right. :) Currently working on my next novel and excited to share those ideas.
Take care,
Gerry

This is fantastic- I only JUST picked up your book "The Atlantis Gene" yesterday when I was looking for something to read on my kindle. . . I'm new to goodreads, I joined only today, and I see there's a Q&A with the author. Either way, I mostly wanted to just talk about this coincidence- but I do have one question, a question I have for most successful authors. How do you plan out your books? What's the secret?

Hi! I just finished Quantum Radio and loved it. I'm curious about a few things from the original world: (1) Why did Nora's father disappear? Was it a similar reason to why Ty's father did? (2) What events made Ty's father leave? (3) If Ty's father was visited by Covenant Agents, what did they have to gain by having Ty's father help him escape with the radio? Wondering if these will be answered in the next book.

Just read through all three of the Origin Series books. Fantastic fun! I'm a sci-fi/fantasy geek at heart but I was especially enjoying the Bourne/Bond/MissionImpossible type vibe going at the start of the first book. With David doing his best to stay one step ahead of . I read that you're working on a thriller set on Earth - should we expect to see more of that type of action?
