I'm on the second book, and really enjoying it, but I noticed that you misspelled Allan Quatermain's name. Has anyone else pointed that out? (Hundred's I'd guess, but I'm a huge Quatermain fan, even have a cat named after him, so I was quick to notice.) Again, though, I'm loving this series and so glad there are eight books to read!

Hi Gypsi,
I’d have replied to this sooner, but I’ve been trying to come up with an explanation that doesn’t make me look like an unread slipshod fraud. So far, nothing. In fact, the truth is worse than it appears — I reviewed the Quatermain bibliography just to write that line, which had once been a more ambitious reference to the Victorian chancer, and still managed to remain solidly immune to the correct spelling.
You’re the first to mention it, actually. Doubtless others took note but I can attest that it’s easily overlooked.
I really appreciate this kind correction. I’ll see to it that subsequent editions of The Case of the Ghost of Christmas Morning give Allan Quatermain the spelling deserved and reserved by both man and cat.

Not a question, but rather a thank you for this wonderful book ( need a question mark apparently so I will put it here? So delightful and such a great antidote to the insanity we are living with in the States. Thank goodness for this book! More, please, sir. -- Genie

I see you have an audiobook version of The Case of the Canterfell Codicil and I have pre-ordered it; many thanks! I am hoping for audiobooks of all your stories and wondered when The Case of the Ghost of Christmas Morning comes out, could it include the entire St. Stephen carol, being sung? I just laughed so hard when I read those various verses!

Kilcladdich - Thank you so much for making me laugh out loud when I woke up. I listen to audiobooks when I go to bed. I went to sleep with 2 sheep and woke up with "you know there's about 100 sheep out there?" I started laughing and said PJ is so clever! I love the addition of the sheep!
