How do you get inspired to write?

Renee Blare My husband! I usually give the credit to my cat, but my husband, James deserves all the credit for my first novel being written. He told me to "stop complaining and write my own" when I filled his ears about the last book I'd purchased. So I did and the rest is history.
As far as the stories? I get my inspiration from the Lord. He teaches me so much as I put the pen to the page (or type along on the keyboard). Believe me, those lessons are as much for me as the reader.
