Goodreads asked Anthony Harrington:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Anthony Harrington My most recent book, "Lamb of God" started off as a played-straight horror novel, then titled "The Lamb", about a young suicidal man who accepts help from a group of Christians who turn out to be anything but and end up using the man to usher in the age of the anti-Christ.

During the outlining process I decided to include a twist ending that caused the entire outline to derail. After a couple weeks of trying to fix the butterfly effect of tampering with the story I took a break and read "Gigantic Death Worm" by Vince Kramer. It inspired me to take the premise of "The Lamb" and twist it into a bizzaro comedy that ultimately became "Lamb of God" which I co-authored with a new author named Wyatt Adams.
