I don't know. Inspiration is necessary, but sometimes in short order. Writing is an addictive activity, a habit, the thing I must do every day, inspired or not. Inspiration, when it comes, is of the imagination. I am inspired by reactive emotion, by aspiration, by fear, by desire.
