Infidelity seems to be a sticking point for a lot of readers. Have you ever had to deal with negative feedback because you've written about characters having affairs?

Yes. Absolutely. My books were rejected by many young editors who didn't "approve" of affairs. I don't either but as life passes, reasons for affairs often increase.
