Hello Fiorella, you might know me as Mary's Dowry. This is the first book or yours that I have read. I just started today, Labour Day, and I have not put it down yet. The theme of misplaced guilt (Warda's) runs through this story and touches me deeply for reasons too difficult and private to go into in this way. I get the feeling that a lot of your writing is from the heart, am I correct in that assumption?

Hi Linda, lovely to link up with you on Goodreads. Thank you for your comments, I hope you are OK. I very much write from the heart, as you have rightly guessed. Like you, the theme of misplaced guilt runs very deep with me, but also the themes of betrayal, rejection, displacement and abuse. I have always believed that writers are either chasing a dream or confronting a nightmare, the latter being true for me.

Thank you for your answer Fiorella. All the other themes you mentioned which run deeply in you also run very deeply in me. It often happens, as it is now, that I weep when someone is kind to me because I feel so undeserving. I sometimes weep when I receive Holy Communion, Our Lord having done the most loving thing toward me that is possible. Is it that same feeling that Warda has?
