I love your work so much! What are your inspirations for writing? I'm really into writing and would love some tips!

Melina Druga Thank you, Bibi, for your question. Over the years inspiration has come from several places. When I first started writing, I used my dreams as inspiration. Later, when I was writing historical fiction, I used the stories I heard on genealogy shows and documentaries as inspiration. Mostly recently, it has been music lyrics.

I've written another (this time shorter) WWII historical novel, The Laconia Incident. It's a true story about a U-boat commander who sunk a British troop ship only to discover it had 1,800 Italian POWs aboard along with their Polish guards, and British passengers and crew.
