How do you get inspired to write?

Kaila Eve Haines Good question. Just about anything can spark an idea. Yesterday on a walk, I must have jotted down at least five good ideas for novels. Not all of them will get written because there just aren't enough hours in a day. I think the topics I am most passionate about are: discrimination, alienation, empowerment and identity. I am fascinated with explorations of motivation and character and most of my writing is dialogue-driven.
