What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Machel Shull My advice for aspiring writers is to create a blog, a journal and write weekly. Also, join a local writing group, take creative writing classes, go to writer's conferences, take learning annex classes if you can still find them and interact on-line with other writers that inspire you. Find one author writer that truly inspires you and read all of their books. My favorite authors have been like beacons of light during different periods of my life. I am grateful for the written word.
