What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Jennifer Carole Lewis My advice for anyone who wants to make the jump from "I like to write" to "published author" is to embrace discipline. Finding time to write is just step one. There's a whole ream of business stuff which will also need to be taken care of, even if you get picked up by a traditional publisher. Get yourself into a group with other writers so that you can learn from them. Life is too short to figure it all out for yourself.
