Hi Sandra. I'm a huge, long-time fan of your books. I always say no one writes sexual tension like you. I was excited to see you taking questions for Romance Week! I very much enjoy your newer suspense novels. I was wondering if you ever miss writing straight up contemporary or historical romance? I love to go back and read the books from the 1980's or so.

Beth...Thank you for that compliment! I so appreciate it! I LOVED writing the “strictly” romances, but I love even more what I’m writing now. (It’s hard to write anything, so you gotta love it.) The suspense heightens the sexual tension, because there’s more at stake, sometimes life or death. And the sexual tension heightens the suspense because nothing frightens us more than a loved one being in danger.

I just finished DEADLINE for the second time. By writing one book a year, I can tell the difference in your books. They are much more "involved" in that you develope characters, the plot, and never boring. Some authors have started writing so many books a year that they are losing what they had years ago. I love your books and always look forward to your next story. When will be get the next one?
