How do you get inspired to write?

Shannon Taylor Vannatter My office is very comfortable with my favorite pastel colors and seashells everywhere. I also have gifts and inspirational sayings people have gotten me over the years. My outdoor cat comes in daily and naps on my wicker settee while I write. I call him my muse. All of this inspires me.

I write when no one else is home or everyone's in bed. When it's quiet, my inspiration starts flowing. And if I get stuck, there's nothing like a walk up our road to get my thoughts going.
