Goodreads asked Jay Wilson:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jay Wilson I can't remember the last time I suffered from writer's block, but when it did come up, I would always find something inspiring to get me going. I think finding your inspiration is the most important part of battling writer's block. If you lose your way in your own story, then step back, get some inspiration, and see if that helps. Also, it's important to remember that if the story you're trying to tell isn't working and isn't going to work, it might be disguised as writer's block. So, if getting rid of writer's block just isn't working, evaluate your story and figure out if it needs a little bit of an overhaul.
