Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lindsay Detwiler I've always been fascinated (or maybe the correct word is horrified) by how many people in our society have been wrongly convicted of crimes. One day, I got to thinking about the impact a conviction like this would have on loved ones, especially a girlfriend or wife. From this concept, the title Voice of Innocence came to me. Soon after, I thought of Emma and Corbin, two "average" American teenagers ripped apart by a wrongful conviction. It seemed like something I could write about, and it seemed like something that would make a solid love story. From there, I just started writing :)
