Richard Serrano
Richard Serrano asked Chris Marie Green:

Chris, it’s me again. I heard a story where the actor Colin Farrell seriously thought about turning in his SAG card after seeing Daniel Day Lewis’s performance in “There will be blood.” What writers leave you in a similar state of awe and humility? Richard

Chris Marie Green Very thoughtful question, Richard! Stephen King has always left me feeling that way, particularly when it comes to his shorter works. I will probably ask to be put to rest with a copy of NIGHT SHIFT! Whenever I read his work, it feels as if I'm wallowing in a feast.

I'm the same way with Donna Tartt. THE SECRET HISTORY is one of the only books I read over and over again.
