Hi. I read your Healer Series a couple years ago and I just finished your Ixian Chronicles. They are all amazing! Why was Opal so attracted to Devlen even when she didn't trust him? Do you think you would ever return to the Healer world?

Maria V. Snyder I'm so glad you enjoyed my books! Opal's hatred of Devlen transformed because he began to change. Once he was free of the addiction to blood magic, he eventually realized what he had done to her and others and wanted to make amends. She didn't trust him, but his actions stayed true and that's what made her feelings change.

I don't have any plans to return to the Healer series, however I said the same thing about the Study books and look what happened ;)
