Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lorna Schultz Nicholson I was working with my editor on topics for series and her daughter's friend walked in her house wearing a Best Buddies T-shirt and we thought that a series featuring a teen with an intellectual disability and one without, written in two voices, would make a great series. So...it started. I'm currently writing the second book in the series and it is about a young girl born with Down Syndrome and her Best Buddy.
