Writer's block can be tough. It's the worst when you are working on a deadline. I find it best to try writing about something different or something mundane while I let my thoughts run wild with what I want to write next.
Sometimes if I am really stuck I will ask my characters what happens next. It sounds silly but they really do take on a life of their own in my work. It's their story I tell.
