GREAT question! (Sorry it took so long for me to respond. Didn't realize these questions were hanging out here.)
What inspires me to write? That's a pretty easy question for me to answer. The inner realizations that I have all the time serve as the foundational source of my own inspiration. Because I am open to new ideas and heretical propositions, I gather information constantly. And as I painstakingly piece together the brilliant, yet limited, perspectives of countless others across multiple disciplines, something magical happens within me. Suddenly, I "see" a fuller, richer, more holistic image of reality than I was able to see before.
And then I write from that place.
