I've finished the Riyria Revelations and I'm excited to delve into the Riyria Chronicles! I know that you've mentioned continuing writing the Chronicles, but are there any adventures in mind that will take place after the events in Revelations? I'm not saying that the books ended incomplete because that is so not the case.

Hey Britney, thanks for asking. You are not the only person to request books that come after Revelations. There are a few challenges in that.
1. The series was carefully planned with a known beginning and ending. To write more would feel "tacked on" and I don't want to risk ruining something I think I "wrapped up nicely."
2. I like where the book ended...and can feel satisfied with where everyone left off at. Sure there is plenty more to explore with the characters, but this gives each person their own ability to wonder "what's next."
3. I have a lot of stories to tell and if all I do is continue that series, then all my other ideas will never be heard. I don't want to be known as a "one trick pony" My hope is to have a bunch of works to keep both myself and the readers interested.
I'm not saying "never" - as I said you and others have asked for more, and in general I want to give you guys books you are excited about and want. But I have some other things to take care of in the short term. As for the long term....well, we'll see. ;-)

Was Royce and Hadrian's jump into the river in The Crown Tower a nod to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? I think I read in Q&A that Royce and Hadrian were somewhat influenced by Butch and Sundance. When I read the river scene in The Crown Tower, I couldn't help but think of when Butch and Sundance were in a similar situation. Thanks!

Michael, have you ever read the Drizzt Do'Urden series by R.A. Salvatore? I am currently cruising through them and I'm finding them to be a fun read. I see a lot of Hadrian and (post Hadrian's influence) Royce as well. I do have you to thank for getting me into the fantasy genre and look forward to your upcoming works. Josh
