Goodreads asked Nathanael Green:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Nathanael Green I don't believe in writer's block as its own thing.

Yes, sometimes it's hard to write. But that's not the mystical "writer's block." That's fear of failure, or a grumpy inner editor, or lack of confidence, or a knotted plot, or just being tired. Or a million other things.

And the way around it is to just keep writing. I say, "Screw it. I have to write," and I put one word down, then the next.
