You'll hear this all the time, but write. Write. Write some more. It doesn't matter if the first draft is horrible, or if your grammar is bad. Write the darn book. Once it's on paper, it can be edited. It can be fixed. If it never makes it to the first draft, then you aren't a writer, and you can't make your story come to life.
