I just finished reading The Tied Man. Couldn't put it down and loved it. But a weird thought hit me hours after finishing. What happened to the other sleeping guests once the fire broke out? Did they make it out? Please tell me the two Americans did not and perhaps Dr. Maxwell too. I like the idea that perhaps they did not.
