Hey Maria, can I first FanGirl a little and say how amazing it was to meet you in Manchester on a leg of your book signing tour! My Q..we will all have different images of Valek and Yelena while reading your books. If you absolutely had to liken each of them to anyone from popular culture (alive or dead) who do you think they have the closest likeness to? :D

Hello Juhenara! It was lovely to meet you in Manchester as well! Ah - this is a popular question. For Valek, a reader/friend of mine just sent me a picture of Jason Marsden - and if he wore blue contacts, he's pretty close. I also like Ben Barnes, too. For Yelena, I've always imagined Summer Glau - not when she played River in the Firefly series, but when she was the Terminator in the Sarah Conner chronicles. Let's see if I can post pictures. Nope - it won't let me - you'll have to goggle them.

Dear Maria, Thank you for writing such amazing fiction that I have thoroughly enjoyed reading for the past 12 years and continue to do so! I just wondered (if you have any time to spare at all) if you wouldn't mind having a look at my book ‘Pink Club’ its a small series of 4 books and the second book will be out this summer.
