How do you get inspired to write?

Kim Luke I find inspiration from things I see, nature and ideas for characters from the people I pass in my daily life. One early evening as the sun was setting I was traveling on a rural back road just outside the city. From my car window I passed something breathtaking. A break in the trees gave me a “peekaboo” glimpse of a small meadow surrounded by trees, filled with wispy grasses, the mist of nightfall and multitudes of small twinkling fireflies glowing and fading within. It was one of the most serene and beautiful scenes and of course ended up in my third book in the Circle of Sun ☀️ Series “Mortal Moon.”
