What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Alex English Where do I start? Working wherever I want - whether it's at home in my pyjamas or in a cafe in Venice. Having an excuse to research all kinds of interesting ideas. Getting to play around with words all day. Hanging out with other lovely writers. Hearing from readers who have enjoyed what I've written. It's the best job ever!
