How do you get inspired to write?

Patty Smith Hall I love interesting bits of history no one else has ever heard about, so it's not unusual for me to find inspiration in newspaper articles or books and magazines on history or specific areas like Wyoming or Montana. The idea for my first book came from a small paragraph in a book on working women in WWII.
