I'm a lifelong learner and, rather like and excited puppy, I find excitement everywhere. I also have ADHD like my son and only found this out a few years ago. It makes a lot of sense about how I do things. I have a very short attention span and I love to learn lots of new things. I also love meeting new people and learning all about them. The result is that I have never ever had to worry about writer's block and every day I have something which inspires me to write!

Hello Mr Powell, I read your excellent review of "Songs At the River's Edge: Stories From a Bangladeshi Village" by Katy Gardner and I wanted to contact you for some advice. I am moving to Bangladesh in 8 months with my fiancee to teach at an international school. I am interested in doing some reading about the history and culture of Bangladesh and I was hoping that you could suggest some good books to start with?
