Goodreads asked Jennifer L. Allen:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jennifer L. Allen I move on to something else. I have been experiencing that a little bit with my Our Moon spin-off, so I just set it aside and worked on the story that was making more noise in my head. I've got several ideas for novels in my head, so if I get stumped, I'll just play around with another one of those ideas. I don't have any deadlines and I don't plan to make any promises for releases or anything like that, so I feel like I have the flexibility to do that and take my time. But if it's something minor, I might just look back at what inspired me in the first place and see if that gives me a little nudge to push passed it. The bottom line is that I want to produce good stuff for the readers, and I feel my work suffers if I try to put something together that isn't quite ready yet.
