What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Kimberly Ranee Hicks Being able to express myself. I love taking life's situations and spinning it into a tale that readers enjoy. In my writing world, I am the captain of the ship. There are no rules except for the ones I set for myself. Writing allows me the freedom to do whatever I wish to do without any real consequences. Being a writer helps me to relieve myself of whatever issues I'm currently dealing with. It's the only way I can truly be me and within my element. Once I've released my inner most sacred thoughts out into the world, I am whole. There's no greater feeling! That's a sense of power that I use wisely.
