What did you do in terms of promotion after you finished writing your first novel?

Hi Kate! Funny you should ask, since I'm in the middle of that right now! Most of my promotion has been an effort to get people to read and review the book. This includes sending ARCs to local schools and to bloggers and running contests in conjunction with bloggers where the prize is a copy of the book. Along with some other writers, I'm also doing some touring to schools, libraries, and bookstores, including a few workshops for teen writers. How did you came up with the idea to have a boy who can create different worlds, while he's in a coma? Also, since you graduated from Dartmouth, I want to ask you about your opinion about the school: what do you think about the school, and was it a great experience and inspiration? I want to go to this school too!
