How do you deal with writer’s block?

Brenda Rothert I don't really believe in writer's block. There are points where I feel 'stuck' while writing, so I move on to another part of the book until I'm ready to go back to what I was stuck on. If it persists, I seek advice from author friends and beta readers, or my editor, about how I can overcome the plot problem I'm having.
Writing often requires discipline. Some days it's more exciting than others. Nothing motivates me like excited readers waiting for that next book. Well, deadlines. Those are also pretty motivating. :)
