Relished Dear Mr K. I'm male, read space opera / guy stuff; also lots of "women's fiction." Sandra Dallas, Cather, Robyn Carr. Amish (Sarah Price etc). Many references to Austen. I want to read something by her to "get" them. I get nowhere with my downloaded audible/print P&Ps. Maybe I'm a lazy reader but ... Have you an Austen suggestion for me? Or should I just buy cliff notes and get over my male pride?

She can tough, but so rewarding. P&P is considered her most popular, Emma her most perfect and my favorite is Persuasion :)
Just remember -- they are small. They don't deal with the movements of nations but of hearts within a drawing room. Her brilliance is often in what she doesn't say as to what she does. She portrays human nature so precisely.

Hi! I just discovered your books by way of grabbing "Of Literature & Lattes" on my way out of the library. When I realized it was the 2nd in a series, I of course, had to pause and read "The Printed Letter Bookshop" first. Was wondering if you had more planned for the Winsome series or if it was always just going to be 2? I feel such a connection to these characters, I'm not ready to say goodbye yet.
