How do you get inspired to write?

Vicki Crum My stories are always character driven. Plot is the hardest part for me. What inspires me to write is the desire to steer my characters through the emotional highs and lows of meeting, or of being reunited after a long time apart, then going through that process of falling in love and trying to make a go of it. It sounds like the easiest thing in the world, but we all know how tricky true love can be. It's fun watching them try to maneuver through the sometimes shark-infested waters!
