How do you get inspired to write?

David N. Robinson I love to write about things that are current and topical. I often get inspiration from scanning the news to find snippets that catch my eye and that, when properly researched, I think will be great to include within a future book plot. I particularly enjoy reading about new technological advances that can enhance my plots and add an interesting edge. For The Gambit, researching how a hacker might able to hack both a mobile phone and a laptop device was fascinating!
