Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

T.M.E. Walsh The idea came about through a competition last year. A well known author wrote a paragraph as the first chapter in an (imaginary) book. The entrants had to then finish the rest of that chapter in approx. 1,000 words and it could be of any genre. As soon as I read that first paragraph, it was like that classic 'light bulb' moment going off in my head for my next book. I didn't win the competition but I chose to rewrite that first paragraph, so the work was my own and tell the story that was beginning to form in my head.
