Ella asked Heather Lyons:

I was recommended to read The Collectors' Society and I am so glad I followed through! It's such a unique concept! Were you worried about bringing to life characters from other books? Which character was your favorite to incorporate?

Heather Lyons Thank you! Actually, I was--but I was determined to be faithful to the originals while putting my own spin on them at the same time. I have to admit, it's hard to pick just one character as my favorite, as so many of them were fantastic to explore. Alice, obviously, for her amazing abilities to take in the fantastical, Finn for the transformation of difficult childhood to a steadfast man who values family, Mary for her unfailing feistiness, and Van Brunt for his acceptance of the foibles of youth.
